There is no doubt that the first ten days of Dhilhijjah are very blessed days. There are many hadiths in Shia sources on the blessings these days have, here is one example: “عَلِیُّ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ طَاوُسٍ فِی کِتَابِ الْإِقْبَالِ نَقْلًا مِنْ کِتَابِ عَمَلِ ذِی الْحِجَّةِ لِلْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ أَشْنَاسٍ مِنْ نُسْخَةٍ بِخَطِّهِ تَارِیخُهَا سَنَةُ سَبْعٍ وَ ثَلَاثِینَ وَ أَرْبَعِمِائَةٍ قَالَ وَ هُوَ مِنْ مُصَنِّفِی أَصْحَابِنَا بِإِسْنَادِهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ مَا مِنْ أَیَّامٍ الْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ فِیهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِنْ أَیَّامِ الْعَشْرِ یَعْنِی عَشْرَ ذِی الْحِجَّةِ قَالُوا یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَ لَا الْجِهَادُ فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَ لَا الْجِهَادُ فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ خَرَجَ بِنَفْسِهِ وَ مَالِهِ فَلَمْ یَرْجِعْ بِشَیْءٍ مِنْ ذَلِکَ”[1].
Therefore, the answer you’ve received is correct in our opinion, nevertheless, to say that these days are higher than the last ten nights of the holy month of Ramadhan (keeping in mind all of what Allah (swt) has said about the night of Qadr that is located in these last ten days) is something that can't be done easily. In reality, what these types of hadiths are trying to do is express the significance of these days, not make a comparison between the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadhan and the first ten days of Dhilhijjah.
